Anne Marie Delaney
PhD StudentDPhil student
Anne Marie received a B.A. in Theoretical Physics with First Class Honors from Trinity College Dublin, followed by a M.Sc. in Computing from Dublin City University. Under the supervision of Tomás Ward during her M.Sc., Anne Marie’s thesis focussed on the development of generative adversarial networks to develop synthetic ECG data. Anne Marie joined the Genomic Medicine and Statistics (GMS) DPhil programme in 2024 to apply her computational skills to the area of genomics and expand her experience in genomic experimental approaches.
Anne Marie is now a DPhil student in the Davies and Luo labs, where she investigates genetic regulation via 3D genome structure using both computational and experimental approaches.
